Description
A number of additional Oepao words elicted mainly for comparative purposes.
rgu20171109_OepaoAdditionalWords-PieterSjioen-original.pdf contains the original transcription made during elicitation of these words. This PDF also contains a number of additional words which were collected after the recorder was turned off. rgu20171109_OepaoAdditionalWords-PieterSjioen-typed.pdf contains a typed ‘phonemic’ version of the original list. Where the two PDFs differ over the presence/absence of certain segments (i.e. glottal stops) the typed version should be taken as authoritative as these have been checked against the recording which is, of course, even more authoritative than any transcription.
rgu20171109_OepaoAdditionalWords-PieterSjioen-TextGrid.txt contains a text grid TextGrid file (open in a text editor and save with .TextGrid extension) with the Indonesian prompts used to elicit words. This can be opened in Praat along with the recording to locate the recording of particular lexical items.

Description
My scanned notes on Rikou from the 08/11/2017 until the 14/11/2017
pdf page 2-14 was elicitation to check whether words transcribed as vowel initial in Jonker’s work begin with an underlying or epenthetic glottal stop.
The remaining pages mainly contain names of various animals in Rikou.
The numbers (i.e. panaa = 14.1) are kinds of birds. These were elicited with pictures downloaded from the internet with the list compiled based on the Timor-Leste checklist of Avibase (http://avibase.bsc-eoc.org) as it was in August 2017. The numbers and their corresponding birds are given in rgu20171108to20171112_Rikou-notes-BirdNames in both PDF and tab delimited text file. The first number (14 in panaa = 14.1) refers to the 'folder' column (third column) and the second number (1 in panaa = 14.1) to the 'no' column (fourth column). Thus the term /panaa/ was that given in response to a picture of the Barn Owl, Tyto Alba.
These notes were compiled based on work with Paulus Nako and the kepala dusun (hamlet head) where we were staying.
