| Description | This multilayer map is part of an ACDE Internship at the University of Melbourne. We wanted to spatialise the post-punk music scene in Melbourne during the years 1977 to 1983, focusing on the iconic band The Boys Next Door (later The Birthday Party). Data was drawn from setlist.fm. We also created seperate layers which show the distribution of theatrical performances and art events during this same period, drawing data from AusStage and DAAO. |
