The nearest port was Port-Lincoln and they travelled there via adelaide. There was a brief stopover at dungog and longer sojourns at Sydney (with a tour of the Harbour-Bridge) , Manly, brisbane and Cooktown. Much later they recalled also returning to Sydney and a cold two weeks in Glen-Innes.
