This is just to provide some pointers to old maps of pastoral stations/runs and homesteads. These are useful for locating places in historical research in Australia, as they are often reference points for events. It would be handy if these were digitised one day.

It includes people who were there years earlier, so this is likely licence renewals, or after they formalised the squatting licence system. Runs sometimes stay in the family too. So, although squatters may have moved, or expanded to have runs in different places, there's a good chance a match of this list to the map is good for the 1830s too.
